Pengaruh Model CIRC Berbantuan Media Cerita Bergambar Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Kelas II Sekolah Dasar

Based on a study conducted at SDN Bangunjiwo, many students have difficulty in completing assignments and lack critical thinking skills. This is due to the traditional teaching methods used in Indonesian classrooms, which often rely on lectures and reading assignments. To overcome this problem, this study applied the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model. This approach uses picture stories to engage students and encourage critical thinking. By comparing the performance of students who received CIRC instruction with those who did not, this study found that the CIRC model significantly improved students' critical thinking skills.
