This study aims to determine the effect of ladder drill training variations on improving the agility of male futsal players at SMPII Al-Abidin Boyolali.
A quantitative approach was used with a pre-experimental design involving only one treatment group without a control group. The research sample consisted of 15 male students participating in the school's futsal extracurricular activities, selected through purposive sampling. The instrument used to measure agility was the Illinois Agility Run Test, conducted before and after the treatment.
The data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that the calculated t-value (10.994) was greater than the critical t-table value (1.76131) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results.
In conclusion, the variation of ladder drill training had a significant effect on improving the agility of the male futsal players at SMPII Al-Abidin Boyolali.
